Facing our longest separation yet, May was challenging. June finally brought Isa to Buenos Aires, creating memories that I’ll never forget. She embraced my world effortlessly, wandering Recoleta, adventures in San Telmo and La Boca, visiting el Teatro Colón, walking for hours on end, and stealing metal dogs from restaurants. From tango lessons to leisurely bike rides spotting capybaras in Nordelta, every day with her was special. Seeing her effortlessly integrate herself in my family was heartwarming and meaningful beyond words. Saying goodbye was painfully difficult, softened only by the promise of soon seeing her again.
